It is a bit lengthy but, it builds, and presents the case for a "supranational" perspective.  You and Daniel spent the time mostly trying to rationalize global events around the concept that the US, China, and Russia are operating independently. This piece conceptualizes that they are not. Reading the headlines after reading this, offers a very different perspective on daily events. The Belt and Road, and global capital and labor flows, weapons sales, new alliances, currency trends and gold movement, all take on a very different meaning...
