The original bill Pearce suggested was soooo much better.  The lawsuits for non-enforcement were able to be filed in small claims and the penalty went to the filer.

I was going to retire on police agencies refusing to check Pearce and Harper's immigration status.

If you are a legal US citizen you have nothing to worry about, if you are an illegal you will be arrested and deported. Its about time someone took a stand. These laws are already on the books the feds have never enforced them. The greedy business ownwers dont want them enforced, they want the cheap slave labor of the illegals.
