Ukraine's US-Backed Undeclared War on Donbass

Supplied by US/Western weapons and high-tech equipment, made-in-the-USA war by Ukraine on Donbass has continued intermittently since April 2014 with no resolution in prospect.

On Friday, Donetsk People's Republic (DRP) Militia Deputy Chief of Staff Eduard Basurin said Ukrainian forces continue breaching  Additional Measures to Strengthen Ceasefire agreed on last July.

They followed agreement on indefinite ceasefire that took effect on July 21, 2019.

US-dominated NATO is strengthening, training and directing Ukrainian forces for what appears to be planned escalation of aggression on Donbass ahead.

On Wednesday, Russia's UN envoy Vassily Nebenzia discussed the risk of escalated Ukraine aggression along its border at a virtual Security Council session.

Once again, he stressed that roots of ongoing conflict stemmed from ousting Ukraine's democratically elected government in February 2014 by the Obama/Biden regime-orchestrated coup d'etat.

Despite no ambiguity about what happened, some Security Council members "remain deaf" and blind to hard evidence, said Nebenzia.

Instead, they call whatever conflicts with the official falsified narrative "Russian propaganda."

Security Council Res. 2022 (December 2011) endorsed principles incorporated into Minsk I and II (2014, 2015) conflict resolution agreements.

Kiev breached them on orders from Washington to maintain a permanent state of war along Russia's border — aiming to draw its forces into what's going on, along with destabilizing central Europe.

Nebenzia explained that "Ukraine is an immediate neighbor (of Russia) with closest historical, cultural and family ties, the place of our common roots and birthplace and brotherly people," adding:

"(I)t was crystal clear from the outset that (the) Maidan (coup in Kiev) forc(ed) the country into an unnecessary and dangerous choice."

"Not only between Russia and the West, but between and among Ukrainians themselves – between the ugliest forms nationalism and multicultural and tolerant society…"

Pre-early 2014 Ukraine "was kidnapped by" US-installed fascist tyranny in Kiev.

A US-orchestrated and encourage reign of terror followed.

Nebenzia cited former Ukrainian MP David Zhvavia on reality in the country and Political Science Professor Ivan Katchanovski on what he called the Maidan's "snipers' massacre" in early 2014.

It's not a secret that the Obama/Biden regime was "prooactive at all stages of Maidan, encouraging the upheaval and the radicals behind it," Nebenzia explained, adding:

"(C)ontinued militarization of Ukraine by the Western countries, the support of drawing up forces to the Contact Line in Donbass and the NATO exercises, such as 'Defender Europe 2021'are not bringing normalization of the situation in Ukraine and in the region any closer."

Just the opposite — a permanent state of conflict and instability in Europe's heartland along Russia's border.

Nebenzia: "Unless (US-dominated) Western supporters of Kiev change their position on further encouraging (its) aggression, violence, neo-nazism and unabated nationalism, the conflict in Ukraine will yet be far from resolution."

Seven years of Russian diplomatic efforts to resolve aggression by Kiev on Donbass were undermined by US-dominated NATO.

Separately on Wednesday, Russia's Presidential Executive Office Deputy Chief of Staff Dmitry Kozak called escalated war by Kiev on Donbass "man-made" by its hardliners and foreign backers, adding:

Minsk conflict resolution agreements said nothing about Russia, nothing about a nation not involved in conflict along its border.

"There is only one mention of the Russian-Ukrainian border, and only in one context — Russia to put the border in Donbass under Kiev's control after elections."

On orders from its higher power in Washington, Kiev refuses to engage cooperatively with Donbass — instead continuing endless war.

According to the Minsk accords, "parties to the ceasefire are Ukraine and separate areas of Ukraine's Donetsk and Lugansk regions" in Donbass.

As long as Kiev refuses to comply what it agreed on, endless war in Europe's heartland may escalate to something much more serious than already.

Is that what Biden regime hardliners have in mind ahead?
