US Legislative War on China

Hegemon USA can't tolerate the rise of other nations on the world stage that effectively challenge its rage for unchallenged dominance.

In May as part of US war on China by other means, a so-called GOP House China Task Force was formed.

Chaired by hardline GOP Rep. Michael McCaul, it aims to curtail China's growing global influence by hostile to its interests legislation.

Five areas are prioritized — national security, technology, economics and energy, competitiveness, and ideological competition.

According to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy:

The task force is charged with "looking at a wide range of China-related issues, including influence operations targeting the US like our universities, think tanks and media outlets, economic threats to our government and our allies, efforts to gain a technological advantage, and our role in the origin and spread of COVID-19."

Time and again, US officials invent nonexistent threats to advance the nation's imperial interests.

Because of its growing preeminence on the world stage, China was falsely labeled Washington's No. One threat.

US actions toward the country are all about undermining its industrial, economic, technological, and military development.

US anti-China rage risks confrontation, possible war between nations with super-weapons able to destroy planet earth and all its lifeforms if unleashed full-force.

China seeks peace and cooperative relations with other countries.

US hardliners from both wings of its war party want none of it. They're pushing the envelope toward confrontation with China.

Made-in-the USA irreconcilable differences define bilateral relations, things worsening, not improving.

In stark contrast to McCaul's anti-China rage, Politico reported that his wife owns about $100,000 in stock of a China company he calls a threat to US national security.

On Tuesday, McCaul and other GOP House members introduced the so-called China Task Force Act.

In covers dozens of anti-China legislation actions recommended by the China Task Force.

It has nothing to do with making the US "safe and more self-sufficient," as McCarthy falsely claimed.

It's all about China bashing — US war on the country by other means that's doomed to fail like similar actions against other nations unwilling to sacrifice their sovereign rights to its hegemonic demands.

"Malign behavior" is a US specialty, not how China acts on the global stage.

China watchers know that Beijing will respond appropriately to hostile US actions.

Blaming others for its own wrongdoing is longstanding US policy — China, Russia and Iran its main targets, Cold War on multiple fronts, a self-defeating agenda longterm.

So far, House GOP members alone are on the China Task Force. Post-November elections, Dems may join them.

Both right wings of the US one-party state are militantly hostile toward China.

Separately as part of US-led anti-China saber-rattling, it's conducting provocative military exercises with Japan and Australia in the South China Sea — what's gone on many times before.

Imagine the reaction in Washington if Chinese warships conducted drills in America's Gulf or off its East or West coast.

US hawks would scream for tough counter-measures.

Hostile US war party actions risk planet earth's destruction by its rage to own it.

The South China Sea, Middle East, and hostile territory near Russia's borders are the world's major flashpoint areas.

If global war 3.0 erupts, it'll likely begin in one or more of these hot spots.
