China's White Paper on COVID-19 Refutes US Big Lies

The US has a long dark record of reinventing history, notably blaming others for its crimes of war, against humanity, and other hostile actions.

Victims of its preemptive wars are falsely blamed for US aggression against them.

The world's leading state sponsor of terrorism USA blames peace and stability-promoting Iran for invented crimes it had nothing to do with.

The same goes for Russia, the world's leading peacemaker among major nations, falsely accused by the US of all sorts of made up stuff — never a shred of credible evidence supporting what's revealed as Big Lies.

China most of all is in the eye of the US storm because of its growing prominence on the world stage — not for any threat posed by the country.

Waging peace and cooperative relations with other countries, China's way is worlds apart from US war on humanity.

On Sunday, its State Council Information Office published a lengthy  white paper titled "Fighting COVID-19: China in Action."

Beijing leads the world in containing its spread — in contrast to Trump regime indifference toward public health and welfare in the US.

It shows by continued outbreaks, notably in certain hot spot states, including California, Texas, Wisconsin, Florida, Arizona, and Mississippi, others likely to follow.

Outbreaks in China are largely contained, small numbers of new ones reported occasionally.

In the US, daily outbreaks exceed 20,000 — around 22,700 reported on June 6, around 110,000 deaths so far with a caveat.

The accuracy of reported outbreaks are in question, notably because of dubious diagnoses.

China's white paper covered the following topic headings:

"China's Fight against the Epidemic: A Test of Fire"

"Well-Coordinated Prevention, Control and Treatment"

"Assembling a Powerful Force to Beat the Virus"

"Building a Global Community of Health for All"

The SARS-CoV-2 virus that produces COVID-19 illness is a highly infectious version of seasonal flu/influenza with lingering harmful effects to human health in some infected individuals.

It's why protective measures are important, especially for individuals with weakened immune systems. 

It's better to be safe than sorry — short of lengthy lockdowns that produced economic collapse in the US, UK, and elsewhere.

Unprecedented economic harm done to millions of ordinary Americans far exceeds the COVID-19 toll — the damage of lost jobs and income to take years or longer to undue.

For countless numbers, harm will be permanent because of destructive Trump regime policies not constructively countered by 

Congress.

Relentless US propaganda war on China rages on multiple fronts, including falsely blaming Beijing for spreading COVID-19 worldwide, a bald-faced Big Lie.

No evidence suggests it originated in Wuhan or anywhere else in China.

Given the longstanding US history of biowarfare, it's highly likely that COVID-19 came from a US biolab, spread worldwide from there, including to China.

Last week in its hardest hit Hubei province, there were no new COVID-19 cases, no deaths from from the disease, no new suspected cases, no imported cases, and no evidence of a flareup, according to its health department.

Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention epidemiologist Wu Zunyou explained that COVID-19 outbreaks stalled in the country.

The white paper is another attempt to counter hostile US propaganda, part of its war on China by other means.

The US is notorious for lack of transparency, coverup and denial.

China has been very transparent by providing information to the WHO and world community on its progress in dealing with COVID-19 — what it began a few days after initial outbreaks occurred near yearend 2019.

Beginning on January 5, COVID-19 updates were reported daily, including information shared with world community about the coronavirus' genome sequence.

No nation provided more aid to more other countries than China in dealing with COVID-19 outbreaks worldwide — around 150 nations benefitting from help provided by Beijing.

In sharp contrast to China's effective approach, Trump regime indifference toward public health and welfare caused untold harm to tens of millions of ordinary Americans.

China's all-out campaign to contain and eliminate COVID-19 outbreaks worked, an example of public health the way it should be.

Nothing done by the US remotely approaches what Beijing achieved.

Its COVID-19 patients were treated cost-free. For weeks after US outbreaks began and steadily increased, Trump was in denial, falsely claiming the issue would go away by itself.

When acknowledgement of the problem was announced, free testing wasn't offered, only belatedly so and to limited numbers of individuals.

Ill Americans are responsible for their own treatment, no federal help forthcoming, how the US healthcare system works, the only developed nation without some form of universal coverage.

China developed an effective public health infrastructure in contrast to large-scale Trump regime cuts in what's essential.

As the saying goes, the proof of the pudding is in results.

China's handling of COVID-19 outbreaks is an infectious disease model for other nations to follow. The failed US approach should be shunned.

Beijing's new white paper on COVID-19 stressed that containing the threat to human health "is a war that humanity has to fight and win," adding: 

"Facing this unknown, unexpected, and devastating disease, China launched a resolute battle to prevent and control its spread." 

"Making people's lives and health its first priority, China adopted extensive, stringent, and thorough containment measures, and has for now succeeded in cutting all channels for the transmission of the virus."

The "Chinese people have exhibited enormous tenacity and solidarity in erecting a defensive rampart that demonstrates their power in the face of such natural disasters."

China's white paper was prepared and released "to share its experience with the rest of the world."

The US under both right wings of its war party focuses on dominating and exploiting other nations, not aiding them through mutual cooperation.
