The Phoenix Baseline Killer Case - City of Phoenix Files GAG Order Motion (Oral Argument Set)

Written by Subject: Phoenix Baseline Killer
(Yeah?... well, here is the Motion, Response and the Reply... (like they'll be able to shut us up anyway). This case has been delayed by the City of Phoenix... again, and is set for trial in February 2014. We have been following this case for years and every filing is public information and there is nothing the City of Phoenix or Marc Victor can do to stop or influence our coverage.... unless the judge rules that such information must be kept from the public... and THAT is a story all by itself! It's a Freedom of Speech and Press Thing!)

Funny. They have a gag order and the first thing you do is post on your website. Just to funny. I will not have to watch the Marx bros to get my dose of ha ha's today.

While I can understand the city's desire to quash publicity regarding their gross ineptitude from the taxpayers and voters they routinely bilk in regards to finding enough jurors who have never heard of the Baseline Killer and how the city let him go on a killing spree through ego and budget justification.

Their complaint sounds more like they are pissed they no longer have a monopoly of feeding the news parrots.  That the Internet bypasses their collegial relationship with the media.  And they are none too happy about it.  There is too much freedom, too much out of control information in the public domain.  Time to do what they do best and quash, quash, quash!  You will keep quiet.
