Seriously? Pizza Profiling?

Pizza Profiling  (Click link for video)

Derby Line sits right on the Canadian-Vermont border. In fact, the border runs right through the library. As you can guess, it used to be pretty easy to cross.Want a pizza? Just walk across the street.

Not now.

Unfortunately, the world has changed. In a post-9/11 world, the harsh reality is that we just can't do everything the way we used to...the way we'd like.Roland Buzz Roy got found that out a while back. He did that "cross the street for pizza" thing and got arrested.

We're sorry. Wish it hadn't happened. We understand some Derby Line residents are pretty hacked off about the arrest. Roland Buzz Roy is, too.

But they need to understand it's a different world, and they---like all the rest of us---need to adjust to reality. If that means checking into a border station, or taking a different street, that's the price for security.

And it's not too steep a price for pizza, either.

That’s our opinion. What’s yours?

Superb, Powell!

As someone who is a self-described "word whore," I was surprised that I didn't know that one.  I used it in a comment directly on the WPTZ website.
