US AG Sues Over Gun-Rights Law

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced he is suing the State of Missouri claiming its recently enacted law allowing gun-owners the right to sue state or federal officials if their Second Amendment rights are violated "is unconstitutional because it fails to conform with the 'federal supremacy' clause, Garland contended. "The right to bear arms is a federally granted right that cannot be altered or expanded upon by any state action."

"Law enforcement works best when state and local officials fully comply with federal authorities," the AG argued. "Often times nailing someone on a federal gun charge is the easiest first step toward getting dangerous people behind bars. Take the case of Patricia and Mark McCloskey who waved around firearms that posed a deadly threat to a group of peaceful protestors that broke into their property a couple of years ago. We mustn't allow a law protecting their rights impede our efforts to put the McCloskeys in jail."

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt called Garland's example "a powerful argument in favor of the law he wants overturned. Protecting the right to self-defense is a fundamental objective of the Second Amendment. It is because of gun-control zealots like Biden and Garland that states must have their own statutes to deter federal efforts to strip citizens of these rights."

Yellen Says Inflation "Not All Bad"

While admitting that "7.5% inflation is concerning," Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen insisted that "it's not all bad. Things would be worse without it."

"I can understand how the average consumer might be worried that rising prices will negatively impact their standard of living, but the erosion of the purchasing power of the US dollar also has its benefits. To most ordinary people the government seems an all-powerful master of its situation. What they don't realize is that the government is the biggest debtor in the nation."

"The declining purchasing power of dollars means that we can pay back our debt with cheaper money," Yellen explained. "In just the last year alone the dollar we borrowed can now be repaid at 93 cents. This shifts more of the burden of supporting the government to persons wealthy and foolish enough to buy our bonds, notes, and bills. Meanwhile, the subsidy checks we have mailed out to select recipients will help them pay higher prices and bolster their approval of the Biden Administration. I'd call this a 'win-win' situation compared to the alternative of honestly honoring our debts and allowing people to keep a larger share of the money they earn. The genius of this strategy will be confirmed when Democrats win the November elections."

Canada Opts for Tyranny

Citing polls that show the majority of Canadians are opposed to the inconveniences resulting from the truckers' peaceful demonstration against the government's covid policies, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has invoked the Emergency Powers Act "to meet this terrorist threat to my rule." The Act passed in 1988 allows for widespread federal civil rights violations and permits the Prime Minister to run the country without consultation with or the approval of Parliament.

The first civil rights violation implemented at Trudeau's behest was warrantless seizure of opponents' assets. This includes not only the Trucks parked around Ottawa, but also the bank accounts of anyone known to have donated money to the cause or posted comments on social media in favor of the "Freedom Convoy." Canada's Justice Minister, David Lametti, emphasized that "we are especially on the lookout for bank accounts owned by Trump supporters. Dispossessing these fascists will go a long way toward restoring obedience to legitimate authority in our country."

Also up for grabs are the children and pets of the demonstrators. Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson asserted that "bringing children and pets to an insurrection is dangerous and irresponsible. Removing these innocents from a potentially violent environment is our responsibility. The children can be placed in foster homes with more docile caretakers and the pets can be painlessly euthanized for their own protection."

The Prime Minister's characterization of his grasp for dictatorial power as "responsible leadership" elicited howls of laughter from many members of Parliament. Political commentator Bill Mahr said Trudeau's rhetoric "sounds like Hitler." The Canadian Civil Liberties Association called his actions "a threat to democracy and liberty."

Trudeau rejected any criticism, saying "I am declaring that opposition to the government is now against the law. It is every patriot's duty to follow whatever orders I give them until this crisis is over. I am the one who will decide when it is over. Anyone who fails to comply will be arrested and thrown into a cell with the crazed lunatic fringe who instigated this unauthorized demonstration for freedoms that cannot be allowed during the pandemic."

You Tube Demands Legal Censorship Authority

Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube, praised "the informal cooperation that has enabled the government and our company to censor unacceptable ideas from being posted on our platform. However, the lack of a specific law specifying that it is legal for us to do this leaves our company liable to being sued. Knowing how big CYA is in government circles, they could always weasel out on the informal agreement and disavow any knowledge of our actions. Following former President Reagan's advice 'to trust, but verify,' we'd appreciate it if Congress could formalize the relationship by passing a law that legitimizes it."

Presidential Press Secretary Jen Psaki expressed sympathy "for Wojcicki's dilemma," but said "other priorities come first. Like the Mission Impossible introduction, You Tube, Facebook, Twitter must bear the risk as a matter of patriotism. The President and the federal government must always have the option to deny any knowledge of, much less approval for, the unconstitutional suppression of freedom of speech that occurs on their platforms. These businesses have huge financial resources with which to pay damages and must trust that the President will pardon them if any prison sentences are handed out for their illegal actions."

Biden Sends Harris to Ukraine & Russia as Peace Envoy

Firmly convinced that Russia will invade Ukraine unless he can stop them, President Biden has tasked Vice-President Harris with "soothing the savage breasts of these potential combatants."

Biden says he is optimistic for her prospects of success. "She is a woman known for her feminine wiles," he pointed out. "Despite her lack of significant contributions to the public good in all the jobs she's had in the public sector and the unfavorable impression most ordinary people have of her, she has risen to the second-highest job in our government. She also has a very positive endorsement of her skills from former California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown who called them 'mighty fine.'"

"I figure calming the irascible Zelensky and Putin would be right up her alley," the President predicted. "If she can get them to make love, not war, a great tragedy may be averted."

Vaccine Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome

A study published in the highly respected journal Lancet compared vaccinated and unvaccinated people in Sweden. With a sample size of over a million test subjects, it found that the vaccines' protection against symptomatic COVID-19 declined with time, such that by six months, some of the vaccinated groups were at greater risk than their unvaccinated peers. Some doctors are calling this condition in the repeatedly vaccinated "immune erosion" or "acquired immune deficiency."

The mRNA covid vaccines instruct the recipient's body to manufacture "spike proteins" that mimic those found in the coronavirus. This strategy provokes a narrow immunity to covid whose effectiveness is eroded when the virus mutates. This erosion of effectiveness has led to recommendations for repeat injections of the vaccines as so-called "booster shots," turning patients into "vaccine addicts." Since these boosters don't stop those injected from growing colonies of the virus in their nasal cavities, the vaccinated become super spreaders of covid. On top of this, the vaccinated are 3.3 times more likely to become ill than the unvaccinated.

Former Pfizer Vice President Michael Yeadon called the research "unprecedented. The empirical data are very worrying. Rather than continuing the global experiment with inadequately tested vaccines, we need to start treating those with covid using known safe and effective drugs like antivirals, corticosteroids, and anti-inflammatories."

Vaccine expert Dr. Anthony Fauci labeled the Lancet study "unauthorized and unapproved research. Stopping the vaccination program before everyone has been put into the recurring injection program threatens to undermine all we have sought to accomplish. The general public needs scientific certainty, not dueling theories. The only way that can be established is by having one universally recognized authority on what is and isn't true about this virus. Unless a better authority can be found and designated by the President, that authority is me. All attempts to undermine my authority must be stamped out before irreparable harm is done."

Meanwhile, an investigative journalist from James O'Keefe's Veritas organization recorded FDA executive Christopher Cole on camera asserting that "Biden wants to inoculate as many people as possible, Schools are going to mandate it. The drug companies pay us hundreds of millions of dollars a year to hire and keep the reviewers to approve their products."

Hillary Responds to Durham Allegations

This week, Special Prosecutor John Durham indicated that he is farther along on his investigation of the 2016 election crimes. He says the evidence proves that Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign paid hackers to spy on Trump's campaign.

Clinton mocked "this so-called scandal. The enemies who have schemed to deny me my turn to be president want voters to think that I did something illegal. Well, the fact is, all of the actions Durham characterizes as crimes were fully authorized by outgoing President Obama. He realized what a disaster it would be for the country to have an uncouth outsider invade the halls of government and agreed to assist me as the only viable way to stop Trump from overthrowing our democracy."

"Someone once said 'if the president does it, it's not illegal.'" Clinton recalled. "That's called 'sovereign immunity.' Well, in 2016 President Obama was our immune sovereign. He approved my intelligence gathering and sabotage plans. He even got the FBI to aid and abet my efforts. The sad thing is it would've worked if the government had the same level of control over what people could say on social media that it has had during the pandemic. The problem is these media weren't yet ready to go whole hog on shutting off unpatriotic contradictions of the government's dictates."
