Neocon Washington Post Mocks Jill Stein and Gary Johnson

by Stephen Lendman

WaPo, like other media scoundrels, wants no challenges to deplorable duopoly power governance - serving powerful monied interests, harming popular ones.

Trump and Clinton are widely reviled for good reason. Both are unacceptable choices for any public office. Gary Johnson is geopolitically clueless - unable to identify a single world leader he admires in a televised interview after earlier asking: "(W)hat is Aleppo?"

Jill Stein is the people's candidate, wanting governance representing everyone equitably and justly. More on her agenda below, discussed in earlier articles.

According to WaPo, "(v)oting third party in this presidential election isn't merely impractical. It's unprincipled." No legitimate editors would tolerate publishing this rubbish.

WaPo ones featured it, quoting Obama ranting last week "(i)f you vote for a third party candidate who's got no chance to win, that's a vote for Trump" - falsely implying only Hillary would lose support.

Sanders hyped the same theme, urging against a "protest vote" for the wrong reason - supporting war criminal, racketeer, perjurer Hillary, showing his self-styled "political revolution" was and remains phony, not real.

WaPo bashed Johnson and Stein, calling them "unserious choices…unfit for office" - its editorial policy supporting monied interests exclusively over popular ones, cheerleading all US imperial wars of aggression.

Jill Stein and running mate Ajamu Baraka "trafficked in conspiracy theories, among other disqualifying behaviors," WaPo spuriously said.

Duopoly governance serves special interests over popular ones. Jill and Ajamu endorse an economic bill of rights - including universal social security and healthcare, jobs for all with living wages, free public education to the highest levels, affordable housing and much more.

They're for real democracy, not today's fantasy version - including public financing and free broadcast time for candidates not using private money.

They want ecosanity made national policy, including GMO-free food safe to eat and renewable green energy.

They're for small farmers over agribusiness, eliminating corporate personhood, workplace democracy, and breaking up corporate monopolies and oligarchies controlling America, especially Wall Street banks too big to fail.

They support progressive and ecological taxation, strengthening and enforcing human and civil rights legislation, along with fundamental social justice.

They're for world peace and stability instead of endless imperial wars, closing America's empire of bases and disbanding NATO, fair over "free" trade, and numerous other progressive policies benefitting everyone, not just the privileged few.

They support a nation fit and safe to live in, a model for others to emulate - why WaPo and other media scoundrels oppose them, wanting deplorable, hugely destructive US policies left unchanged.
