Both the Wall Street Journal and NY Times say that the San Bernardino mass killers lived with the mother of the male killer, Mr. Farook.

Yet relatives of the killer couple said they didn't see anything unusual in the behavior of the mass killers. 

Yep, nothing unusual about your son bringing home a fiance from Saudi Arabia who wears a niqab, which covers everything but the eyes.  Yep, his new wife never expressed her political and religious beliefs around the family dinner table. 

Family members also said they knew nothing about the stockpiling of guns and bombs, although the killers lived with grandma in a tiny townhouse, where they were stockpiling guns and ammo in the garage, were modifying semi-automatic guns in the garage to fire fully automatic, and were making pipe bombs in the garage.  

Yep, nothing unusual about that.   Yep, grandma never ventured into the garage.

Note:  Clothes washers and dryers are in the garage of many California homes.

Yep.  If my heretofore clean-shaven and not deeply religious son were to return home from a visit to a Catholic monastery in France, wearing a long beard and a monk's robe and sandals, accompanied by a fiance from the town of Lourdes wearing nun's clothes and self-flagellation scars on her back, I wouldn't see anything unusual about it.  And if both of them were to spend hours each day tinkering with something in the garage, I wouldn't see anything unusual about it or ask what they are doing.

Yep, I wouldn't say to my son, "Have you lost your friggin' mind?" 

Let's hope that our media and law enforcement aren't really this gullible.
