On this Fourth of July, are you celebrating the illusion of freedom that most Americans mistakenly think they still possess? Or, are you in mourning for your lost liberties? For on this July 4th, we are hearing calls for the restoration of our government through the process of unelecting all incumbents.

At one point in time, I thought cleaning the political whoremongers out of Congress could possibly restore our lost liberties and once again, we would be free to pursue the American Dream. Alas, the cancer of corruption has spread so far, it is too late to change the system from within.

The American people have lost the executive branch. Whether the President is a CFR member or a Trilateral, it does not matter. The President’s advisors will emanate from one of these two groups and will serve their global corporate masters. Through the efforts of 11,000 lobbyists, the United States Congress has become the most prosperous bordello in the history of the world and it is totally unresponsive to the will of the people. Soon, the appointment of Kagan to the Supreme Court, will sway the court to an ultra-liberal position and we will awake that all three branches of government will be serving forces whose will and purpose is antithetical to the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And of course, through the use of the infamous Diebold voting machines, the will of the people can be permanently abrogated through election fraud.

How do we best undo this present form of government and re-establish the form of government that Americans have come to expect, namely, a Constitutional Republic?  Do the tea partiers need to arm themselves with 12 gauge shotguns instead of copies of the Constitution? Do the American people force a confrontation with its military in the hope that some of the military will band with the people and face off against the forces that are attempting to turn this entire world into a prison planet?

Historically, the conditions exist which are suggestive of the fact that America is on a collision course with violent revolution against its federal government. Yet, is violent revolution the answer to our dilemma? Or, is the second alternative of change at the ballot box the preferred course of action? Certainly, our electoral process has not served us well in recent times. However, as we celebrate our past on this July 4th, and warily consider our future, there can be no doubt that dramatic change in the evolved structure of federal government and who serves in our federal government needs to be changed and changed quickly.

If Americans seek to restore their lost liberties, swift action is indeed called for. In fact, the Declaration of Independence states, ”That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed...” Can anyone seriously argue that our present government derives its authority from the consent of the governed? However, it is not a wise course of action to change a long standing government for some trivial or fleeting reason. Thomas Jefferson echoed this sentiment when he stated in the Declaration of Independence “Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes;” However, as human beings, we are gifted with specific inalienable rights including”...Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness…”  Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Remember, this is the same government that forced the following down the throats of the governed without their consent:

1.    The passage of national health care, complete with its death panels and hidden taxes, was passed over the objections of the majority of the people along with prohibitions from any competition. This clearly violates the right to life and liberty.

2.    The executive branch has appointed officers without the consent and approval of the Senate. These so called “czars” yield power and authority that is unprecedented and unwarranted. The sole reason for the creation of the dozens of czars is clearly designed to circumvent the Constitution much to the detriment of the people.  

3.    The executive branch has initiated legislation, through the use of illegal and dictatorial executive orders, an action not enumerated to the executive branch. For example, Obama has threatened to legalize 30 million illegal migrants through the stroke of his executive order pen.

4.    It has established bureaucracies with authority beyond any single branch of government (ie. the separation of powers) enumerated in the constitution has been ignored and a single bureaucracy has been empowered to make rules, enforce rules and levy punishments without due process. 

5.    The Judicial Branch has usurped Legislative powers. Soon, Americans will lose their inalienable right to bear arms with the impending appointment of Kagan to the Supreme Court.

6.    It has allowed the establishment of a central bank (i.e., the Federal Reserve), not authorized by the constitution which has resulted in the net worth of the dollar being reduced to a paltry 4 cents.

7.    It has violated the constitution by subverting personal property rights through enacting environmental laws which prohibit the free use of private property rights.

8.    Members of all branches have violated their oath to uphold and defend the constitution by enacting and signing laws that are not constitutional (i.e., health care).

9.    The federal government has failed to secure its borders against a decades long foreign invasion. The dangers posed by most illegal immigrants are debatable and negligible. However turning a blind eye to potential terrorist sleeper cells entering the country is not debatable when it comes to the fiduciary duty of the federal government to protect the American people from all enemies both foreign and domestic. There is growing evidence that such threats exist.

10. Members of the federal government are committing economic treason against the people of the United States through the repetitive attempts to pass the economic crippling Cap and Trade bill which will singlehandedly reduce the average American lifestyle to that of a feudal serf.

11. The federal government has repetitively engaged in illegal and immoral wars of occupation for the benefit of the military industrial complex and to the detriment of the American people, its economy, its brave soldiers and our national reputation.

12. The federal government has engaged in repeated 4th Amendment violations in the form of suspicion less wiretapping, email and fax surveillance and general illegal spying of all types against the American people.

13. The federal government is attempting to give away the last bastion of free speech enjoyed by Americans, the internet, to a conglomerate of private monolithic communication corporations.

14. The federal government’s greed, corporate servitude and ineptitude were all in evidence in their response to Hurricane Katrina and present Gulf oil spill.

Revolutionary war period author and publisher, Thomas Paine, set out to persuade the people of each colony to stand up and fight for their freedom. He desperately tried to  convince his fellow beleaguered colonists that the tyrant King of England had indeed enslaved the colonies and their citizens. He referred to the King of England as a "A common murder, a highwayman, on a house-breaker, has a good pretence as he." Can we honestly say any less about foreign born American President, Barry Soetoro (aka Barack Hussein Obama), and his fellow crime syndicate minions?

Thomas Paine once said “Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one…”  Can any reasonable America argue that our federal government has indeed become intolerable?

If revolution is implausible and the election process is irrelevant, what our choices? Thanks to a few off the cuff remarks by Texas governor Rick Perry, people all over the country are talking about secession in the not so United States. This marks the first time since 1865 that the topic is a legitimate subject in the American public discourse since 1865.

Despite the protestations of Time Magazine and the New York Times, Texas does have the right to withdraw from the Union and so do the other 49 states.  In fact, there never has been a real question about the legitimacy of secession as it was the underlying principle which led original 13 colonies to revolt against British tyranny. It was the major principle which permitted each state a vote when in came to ratifying the Constitution as its governing document.  Even Abraham Lincoln argued “that people anywhere…. Have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and to form on that suits them better, and, if a majority deprives a minority of a clearly written constitutional right, that would justify revolution.” Lincoln somehow forgot those words when he became President.

Arizona, nor any other state, joined the union to become part of an empire. Withdrawing from the Union strikes fear in the hearts of our political and corporate masters. Thomas Jefferson said when the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. I want our government to fear the people. The government laughs at the possibility of revolution because it is doomed to failure. The government and its puppet masters know that they can control and manipulate the outcome of key elections so they don’t live in fear of this November and the anti-incumbency movement of the Tea Parties. However, the one variable that the power elite do fear the most is the possibility of becoming the King of nothing. The only foreseeable way to reclaim our lost freedoms is leave the federal government with nobody to rule over. The only method available is to withdraw from the Union.
