Watch: Flashback 2019: Kamala Harris in Iowa on impact of her climate plan on farmers:
• https://www.climatedepot.comTV Host Question to Harris: "Oil field workers, auto workers, farmers -- when it comes to complaints about methane production, they start to back up. They say, 'Well, I've got to worry about putting food on the table this week. I can't be worried about something decades away, and you're taking away my ability to earn a living."
Harris: "So that's why my plan is to make sure that we give people an $8,000 tax credit to be able to transition their skills that they have into the jobs that need to be filled...It's just about saying that as we move forward, let's transition those folks into with the skills they already have that are so valuable into the jobs that need to be performed. I look at our farmers -- I've been spending a lot of time with farmers in Iowa, and the kind of farmers are some of the most innovative people, by nature, because they have to adapt. They're never going to sit around singing a sonnet about all things are changing, they have to deal with it."
This clip from when Kamala was running for President in 2019 is long but it is well worth your time to watch.
