Democrat Representative Jamie Raskin said in a video filmed sx months ago that Congress will stop Trump on January 6, 2025 and create "civil war conditions." Raskin said Congress will use the insurrection clause in the 14th Amendment to stop Trump from taking office if he wins the 2024 election. A critic noted that Raskin revealed that he knows Trump will win, and that Democrats will orchestrate another insurrection to try to fool everyone again into believing Trump supporters are violent.

The video of Raskin was made before the recent  Supreme Court decision that found that a president has absolute immunity for acts within their core constitutional powers and a presumption of immunity for "acts within the outer perimeter of his official responsibility."

US District Judge Tanya Chutkan will now be responsible for applying the Supreme Court's decision to the allegations in Trump's criminal case, including whether Trump's actions were "official acts" or private conduct that can be prosecuted.
