Technocrats At OpenAI In 'Reckless' Race For Dominance

• https://www.technocracy.news, BY: VIA DNYUZ/NYT

Secrecy and lack of transparency within the company have been major complaints by ex-employees and other industry leaders. Technocrats are well-known for ignoring ethical or moral restraints when pursuing their goals. In this case, using humanity as their guinea pig will not end well.
On top of raw Technocratic urge, add greed and lust for power that is heaped on by OpenAI's partnership with Microsoft. Remember Bill Gates?

All of this is under the watchful eye of OpenAI's newly constituted board of directors, where we find Lawrence H. Summers representing the Trilateral Commission.

Unplugged Technocrats, 800-pound gorillas in the room and, the Trilateral Commission (who started modern Technocracy in the first place) seem like a real disaster in the making for us, not for them. In fact, I picture that the Trilateral Commission is playing the 1972 hit song, "I Can See Clearly Now," as they near their goal of world domination:

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day ? TN Editor
A group of OpenAI insiders is blowing the whistle on what they say is a culture of recklessness and secrecy at the San Francisco artificial intelligence company, which is racing to build the most powerful A.I. systems ever created.

The group, which includes nine current and former OpenAI employees, has rallied in recent days around shared concerns that the company has not done enough to prevent its A.I. systems from becoming dangerous.

The members say OpenAI, which started as a nonprofit research lab and burst into public view with the 2022 release of ChatGPT, is putting a priority on profits and growth as it tries to build artificial general intelligence, or A.G.I., the industry term for a computer program capable of doing anything a human can.
