Mitti Randhawa initially posted on X a picture of himself and his sister on May 19 with the caption: "The support is real. Nikky Haley for president. Milwaukee, here we come." The mention of Cream City referenced the GOP National Convention, which is set to happen there from July 15 to 18.

This led conservative activist and journalist Laura Loomer to ask: "Is [Haley] planning a coup against Trump at the convention?" Randhawa responded in the affirmative, replying: "Yup, it's happening. Deal with it."

Randhawa, a strategic market director with drug company Johnson & Johnson, also responded to other posts critical of his sister. "Did she lose? It's not over until it's over," he replied to user @americasgreat. The user slammed Haley as a "sore, vindictive loser" for her attempted coup against Trump, comparing her to "the ex that can't let go."
