Two-time Golden Globe nominee Dennis Quaid voiced his support for former president Donald Trump during a recent interview that has sparked widespread attention online.

His reason for picking Trump attracted eyeballs because he attributed his decision not to politics, but to what he termed the "weaponization of the justice system" in addition to the former president's policy record.

Quaid also told Piers Morgan Tuesday in a now viral clip, "People might call [Trump] an a**h*le, but he's my a**h*le."
