Megyn Kelly called a jury verdict awarding E. Jean Carroll $83 million for Donald Trump defaming her "stomach-turning," adding that this case was a "political hit from the beginning."

Kelly fumed that Democrats in the New York legislature passed a new law specifically so Carroll could sue Trump as under the law at the time, the timeframe to file a lawsuit long since passed.

"They make her [E. Jean Carroll] like she's the champion … I love the revisionist history, like she was just this woman who was unfairly targeted by Trump … When in fact, again, it is believed that the law was changed in New York in order to allow this lawsuit against Trump by a Democrat who hates Trump," Kelly declared.
