Americans reveal how they've turned to HUNTING and ditching charcuterie boards...

• Daily Mail

Americans have turned to hunting to slash their grocery bills - with others shunning organic produce and cutting down on swanky charcuterie boards.

Nancy Randall, 56, and her husband David say they've worked to cut their bills by 30 percent by getting out their guns and hunting deer, which they process into venison sausages and Tamales.

The couple, from Houston, also fish for snapper in the Gulf of Mexico. They freeze their bounty and eat it gradually over the course of the year, meaning they spend less on meat at the supermarket.
