These allegations revisted the spotlight when political biographer Peter Schweizer spoke to Fox and claimed to have discovered this private phone line from Hunter's abandoned laptop.

The global phone that was serviced through American multinational telecommunications company AT&T for $300 a month is said to have been able to "access somebody anywhere around the world".

Schweizer further suggests that this may be the phone that the Ukrainian Burisma executive had used in recorded conversations with Joe Biden as was exposed by a recently subpoenaed FBI document.

The alleged phone information has since been shared with the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.
