The Wild Bunch has been delayed this month due to the passing of my beloved dog Reba from cancer.  It was rather sudden and she was a good friend.  I will be catching up with all my projects through the next couple of weeks.

Here at Alt-Market we talk a lot about worst-case scenarios, and the perhaps the very worst of all situations is one in which you must be constantly mobile due to extreme pursuit.  In other words, a superior enemy force is trying to track you and your people down.  This could happen for a number of reason – Perhaps there is a foreign military invasion.  Perhaps your own government goes totalitarian.  Perhaps there are well organized gangs controlling the area you are in.  In any case, staying in one spot simply isn't an option.

In order to break down and defeat that pursuing force you will need to maintain coordination with others within the engagement area as well as outside the engagement area.  This means you will have to carry gear that allows you to establish short term operations and communications while still being able to move quickly if needed.

In the next issue of the Wild Bunch Dispatch I will go through a list of mobile operations gear while explaining the purpose of each item.  I will also discuss strategies for preventing enemies from tracking you or boxing you in, as well as contingencies for smashing weak points in enemy perimeters in order to escape.
