Update: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) called for an investigation into why Pentagon officials reportedly withheld critical military information from former President Trump regarding Chinese spy balloons that allegedly flew over the U.S. during his presidency.

Republican Rep. Mike Waltz of Florida told Fox News on Monday the DoD spotted two Chinese spy balloons over U.S. soil during the Trump presidency and refused to inform him.

General James "Mad Dog" Mattis, who was Secretary of Defense at the time, allegedly held the information back from his Commander in Chief with many in Trump's circle saying the military "thought Trump would be too provocative and too aggressive."
