That included several executive orders reversing the strict immigration and border enforcement policies that Donald Trump had implemented, all of which combined to produce the lowest levels of illegal immigration and the smuggling of dangerous drugs we'd seen in years.

The results were predicted and predictable: Illegal immigration and drug smuggling exploded, along with deaths from deadly fentanyl coming from Mexico's cartels and made with ingredients shipped to them from China.

One bright spot in that disaster endured, however: The regime's inability to get rid of Title 42, a statute that was being utilized to quickly turn away migrants who crossed illegally under the guise of limiting the spread of COVID-19.
