Soros group receiving IRS tax-exemption accused of targeting Republicans

A George Soros-backed organization that has gone political, targeting Republicans with its activities, has been doing so while under tax-exempt nonprofit status from the Internal Revenue Service, according to a report.

It's only a few years ago that the IRS itself took on the specific agenda of trying to destroy conservative and Christian organizations just as Barack Obama was seeking re-election, and denied or delayed their tax-exempt status.

It appeared that those groups largely were targeted by the IRS because of their criticism of Obama's extreme left actions, and the IRS ended up paying out millions in damages as a result of the lawsuits that followed.

Now, a report from Breitbart News explains that the IRS, with its "well-documented history of targeting conservatives," gave the "Good Information Foundation," which reportedly is being backed by Soros, its tax-exempt status.

Its political agenda has become evident through the accusations of a lawyer and commentator, Preston Moore, who recently posted a video charging the organization with trying to get him to make a factually suspect video attacking President Donald Trump and "Trump Republicans."

Moore said he was offered $400 by the "Good Information Foundation" and since he was no Trump supporter, considered the proposal.

Breitbart explained, then, "Moore emphasized he is not a Trump supporter and had initially considered accepting, until the organization began dodging questions about the factual accuracy of its campaign. In Moore's video, he includes email screenshots allegedly from the Good Information Foundation with 'important notes.'"
