Many of us will be looking forward to the sunshine and the heat, but won't be excited about the frizzy hair that comes with it.

However, one social media user has shared the hack she swears helps tame her hair every time - rubbing it down with some tumble dryer paper.

Taking to TikTok, the user, named Snconroy, who lives in New York, shared a short clip demonstrating exactly how to transform flyaway locks using the household staple that normally keeps clean washing smelling nice.

She starts by brushing her lengthy brunette tresses, which she holds in her hand and tilts her head upside down.

Before long her hair begins to puff out - and at this point she reaches for the tumble dryer paper.

She's heard telling followers: 'Okay, so if you're like me and you brush out your hair once a year and it gets super "staticky", I'm going to show you how to cure that.

'See all that lovely static, you're just going to go woop! And the static is gone.'

She then sweeps the tumble drying sheet through her tresses before flipping them over.

Her locks look visibly smoother and instantly become less puffy as the sheet removes static.

Static electricity is created when two unlike objects rub against each other and the process causes electrons from one object to be transferred to the other.
