Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano is an ardent supporter of Donald Trump, but that didn't stop him from delivering a heap of bad news Monday morning, including a vociferous refutation of Rudy Giuliani's latest defense for Trump's payoffs to porn star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal.

In a lengthy segment with America's Newsroom anchor Bill Hemmer, Napolitano spared no hard truths in his assessment of Trump's legal jeopardy. He began by delivering the news that the Michael Cohen sentencing memo is "dangerous" to Trump because it implicates him in the crimes to which Cohen pleaded guilty, and noted that the Southern District of New York "wouldn't make an allegation like that if they didn't have evidence to support it."

But he was sharpest in his rebuttal of Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, who tweeted on Sunday that "No responsible lawyer would charge a debatable campaign finance violation as a crime."

"It's not debatable," Napolitano said. "The responsible lawyers he's saying wouldn't do this are the professional people, not the political appointee who recused himself — Geoff Berman — but the professional people who run the southern district of New York."
