Russia and China building nuclear reactors to gain power in developing countries

• https://www.nextbigfuture.com, brian wang

France's Areva has not sold a reactor since 2007.

Russian nuclear reactors cost 20 percent to 50 percent less then nuclear reactors based on American or European companies. Russia then offers extra financial incentives.

Only China and South Korea are able to match Russian nuclear reactor pricing and terms.

China also will subsidize the costs for a reactor. China helped Pakistan with 85% of the cost for nuclear reactors. China will be trying to sell nuclear reactors as along with airports, rail projects, ports and factories as part of the Belt and Road Initiative.
