A man who claimed he helped dispose of Natalee Holloway's body after she went missing has been stabbed to death while trying to kidnap a woman.

John Christopher Ludwick was trying to abduct an unidentified woman as she got out of her car in the driveway in North Port, Florida.

A struggle ensued and Ludwick, 32, ended up being stabbed by the woman. He ran away and was found wounded nearby. He was flown to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.  

Ludwick said that in 2010 he was paid by his best friend Jordan van der Sloot, the prime suspect in Hollway's disappearance, to dig up the teen's remains, cremate them and scatter the ashes in Aruba.
