State seizes kids from mom who used marijuana, yet no punishment for parents who push ADHD drugs

(NaturalNews) Once again, state bureaucrats playing the role of tyrannical thugs have stolen a child from a parent who dared to treat her daughter with medical marijuana, even as they and federal-level bureaucrat thugs allow Big Pharma and establishment medicine to hook kids on dangerous ADHD medications.

As reported by Blacklisted News, a young mother in Idaho lost custody of her three-year-old daughter after providing her with marijuana smoothies, which was the only thing she could find that would help relieve her little girl's seizures.

Kelsey Osbourne, 23, said that using marijuana on her three-year-old was a last-resort tactic after all other medications she was being given by the medical establishment were not working to stem her daughter Madyson's often violent seizures.

She said that her daughter's seizures got so bad that very often she began vomiting and hallucinating from them. Then, of course, there is the fact that seizures can cut off oxygen to the brain and cause damage.

It was a treatment that worked when Big Pharma didn't

But none of that mattered to the state Nazis who obviously can't see the hypocrisy and irony of forcing Osbourne and Madyson to rely on standard medical treatment that wasn't working. To our knowledge, however, no charges have been filed against her physicians and providers for using ineffective medications.

Blacklisted News noted that Madyson's seizure activity ramped up so much during the month of October and seemed to be getting worse that her mother became desperate. As her daughter was detoxing from prescription anti-psychotic medications which were supposed to relieve her symptoms, it became clear to Osbourne that they weren't working and never would.

While marijuana use is not legal in Idaho, where Osbourne lives with her two children, in some areas of the state, parents who have children stricken with epilepsy are legally permitted to give them cannabis oil. But when she wasn't able to obtain any, Osbourne decided instead to make her daughter some marijuana butter and give it to her.

In early October the little girl tested positive for marijuana at her doctor's office (it wasn't clear why she was tested in the first place). Shortly afterward, the state goons at protective services showed up to remove Madyson and her little brother, Ryker, 2, from the home and place her in the custody of Osbourn's ex. She is allowed supervised visits.

Doctors said their concern wasn't due necessarily to the fact that the little girl tested positive for the active ingredient in marijuana, but rather that Osbourne had given Madyson recreational marijuana, which contains THC, which can supposedly be dangerous to a child's development.

But again, as noted by Fox 8, the pot "smoothies" were keeping little Madyson's seizures at bay.

"They would stop and come back, stop and come back," Osbourne told the local news team.
