Iran Accuses Kim Kardashian Of Being A Secret Agent For Instagram

While Iran's culture and traditions won't be popular to millennials who have embraced the 'Westernized' way of life, a group of Iranian people may have a point in holding the famous TV personality and fashion model, Kim Kardashian, liable for polluting young people and women – of course without the part wherein they actually accused her of being a secret agent.

Believe it or not, Iranians – specifically officials from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp, actually did accuse Kim Kardashian of being a secret agent working for Instagram wherein she "targets" the young and influences them to copy her antics and make them the new norm. Apparently, Iran isn't too keen on the way their women pose for pictures online without their customary head covering. And with the way fashion modelling is done today, specifically with the way fashion brands depict women for advertising, they are probably justified for putting their crosshairs on this Kardashian notorious for posting selfies without any covering at all.

According to Mostafa Alizadeh, spokesperson for the Corp's Organized Cyberspace Crimes unit, Kardashian is in cahoots with Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom to make fashion modelling native to their land, and they're taking – what they feel as an attack to their customs and traditions, very seriously.

"Ms. Kim Kardashian is a popular fashion model so Instagram's CEO tells her, 'make this native,"' the IranWire quotes Alizadeh in an interview with an Iranian news program. ''There is no doubt that financial support is involved as well. We are taking this very seriously."

In case you didn't know, Iran has an operation dubbed 'Spider II' that hones in on women posting pictures without head covering, leading to their crackdown on the fashion industry that saw the arrests of more than a handful of female models, seven of which were models who had photos posted on Instagram without a headscarf.
