Former Smokers Find E-cigarettes A Temptation to Resume Smoking...

A small research held in Scotland points out that e-cigarettes may not help smokers to quit smoking. In fact, use of e-cigarettes in former smokers stimulate them to go for smoking again.

Researchers interviewed 64 volunteers to tell their experiences about e-cigarettes. The researchers were looking to delve into the benefits and harmful effects of e-cigarettes. Surprisingly, the researchers found that use of e-cigarettes inspired former smokers to start tobacco smoking again.

Study author Amanda Amos, a researcher at the Center for Population Health Sciences at the University of Edinburgh Medical School, gave her remarks about the risks of e-cigarettes, ""Because e-cigarettes are relatively new products we are only beginning to learn about the health risks"
