LA Banned Fast Food But People Keep Getting Fatter

Is it right to force people to do a good thing? Does it even work? Here at True Activist, we have been writing a lot about the recent fall of fast food, it turns out that the public is beginning to learn more about the food they are eating and they are starting to make better choices. This process is happening naturally and does not require any type of force or law to put it into motion.

Unfortunately, violence is the paradigm that controls this world, and laws, enforced under the threat of violence are typically how changes get made. This almost always has disastrous consequences, because violence is obviously not a proper way to solve problems.

Take, for example, the fact that Los Angeles banned stand-alone fast food restaurants several years ago and have not seen any positive results from the ban. In fact, a recent Rand Corp. study found that years after the Los Angeles fast-food ban, there are actually more obese and overweight people in the area. This is because people continued to make bad decisions, even if it was more difficult for them to do so.
