Drone Strikes on Civil Liberties?

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has vowed to filibuster the nomination of David Barron to the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston. The announcement was made in response to a growing debate over drone strikes on American citizens. Paul told reporters he will oppose "anyone who would argue that the president has the power to kill American citizens not involved in combat." The Justice Department recently announced they will be releasing a redacted version of the law they claim gives the federal government power to execute American citizens.
