Patrick Gavin’s WHCD documentary to include ‘fans and haters’

He tells us there are “about 20 events on my docket,” the footage of
which which he’ll combine with interviews with White House
correspondents and journalists who’ve covered and attended the dinner.
He’s also trained a lens on the planning behind the pre-dinner Friday
night party hosted by Capitol File.
The goal? “To go behind the scenes and do an anatomy of what’s become
the biggest weekend in one of the world’s most important cities and how
it got that way, and to also look at the modern role of the White House
correspondent and how that’s changed,” he tells us.
