The ad is funny but it also highlights one of the positive byproducts of legalization. The legal marijuana industry is more than just the growers and retailers. Legalization also helps to create a whole host of jobs in related industries ranging from lab testing, childproof package manufacturing and tourism.

While this is kind of a cheap publicity stunt, the fact that major companies are so openly embracing legalization is still very nice to see. Acceptance tends to lead to more acceptance.

The more that companies, politicians and celebrities are openly talking about legalization in a positive way, the more likely people are to support it.
