Obama Trying to Fast Track the Trans-Pacific Partnership—a Trade Pact Worse Than NAFTA

Know much about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)? If you don’t, it’s not your fault. According to Zoë Carpenter (The Nation), Congress hasn’t heard much about TPP either. That’s because this so-called “free trade” agreement is being negotiated in “extreme” secrecy by representatives of twelve different countries—the United States, Japan, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore,  and Vietnam....

Since Obama doesn't really have the authority to do this, what might work is that most of the people think that he DOES have the authority. If he can convince law enforcement to think that he has the authority, it will depend on how many people are willing to fight their own law enforcement. All the current police brutality should be waking people up to the fact that they will have to take their own police down if they want to live somewhat normal lives. And this includes taking down the TPP.
