At the time this was put up on this board, the article still identified he individual as SAS. It seems now, as the SAS is famous to do, that they have persuaded the Guardian to omit any reference to the SAS, and the article now merely calls the man a former Royal Marine. No doubt he is indeed a former Marine,...who joined up with the SAS.
