Go wakeboarding without the wake, thanks to this motorized board

• http://www.dvice.com, Colin Druce-McFadden

Seemingly modeled after Griff Tannen's Pit Bull hoverboard, JetSurf boards similarly offer more power than their motorless counterparts. With your very own two-stroke, 100cc engine under-toe, you'll be able to cruise across even the most placid of seas at top speed.

Depending on which model you end up springing for, top speed can mean anywhere from 30 to 35 mph. Whether you opt for the top-end Pro Race model or the somewhat more modest Ultra Sport, your JetSurf board will come equipped with a 2.5 Liter fuel tank, capable of powering the board for around an hour. Each model is also outfitted with a hand-operated controller which allows you to alter your direction and speed.

To get your hands on a JetSurf board of your own, you'll have to be willing to shell out a fairly large chunk of change. No matter which model you end up purchasing, you'll have to cough up a little over $15,000. Still, if you've always wanted to know what if felt like to scream across the surface of the water, bat in hand, with McFly in your sights, this just might be the closest thing to Griff's hoverboard we're likely to see for quite a while.
