You mean a CONgressman--a member of the group responsible for creating the IRS, funding the IRS, empowering the IRS, controlling the IRS--got applauded for publicly belittling the IRS? That too is what they pay the IRS well to be: Their whipping boy as needed.

You mean a CONgressman who is a member of the party in control of CONgress for how many years now, renewing the funding of the IRS, passing ever further powers and tasks to the IRS, got applauded by a bunch of mindless trained seals for publicly belittling the IRS? That too is what they pay the IRS well to be: Their whipping boy as needed.

The trained seals come free.
