Shaped Carbon Rods
Shaped carbon rods made from pure soft graphite and are available in 3mm and 6.2 mm diameters. They have a tip length of 3 mm and a total length 50mm.
The advantages of using these graphite rods are:
Reproducible carbon film thickness due to the Standard tip length
Less evaporation current needed thereby reducing specimen damage from radiant heat.
Carbon fibre offers a reproducible carbon coating in a Vacuum Evaporators or Sputter Coaters with a fibre evaporation attachments. The braided carbon fibre is manufactured to prevent cut the ends from unraveling.

Density: 0.025g/25.4mm
Carbon Cord
High density, thicker braid will give you single shot thick coating
Carbon cord: 2.6mm dia. Density: 0.045g/25.4mm
