HANCOCK'S - WEDNESDAY MAY 30TH, 2012 - 5 P.M. TIL???

It has been a while since we have had a party and we will be leaving next week for a month to go on a cross-country trip from Phoenix, AZ to Lancaster, NH with many stops in between (Chuck Baldwin in Montana, Nick in Indiana, Karen, Kwiatkowski in Virginia, and Porcfest in New Hampshire just to name a few).

 

But we need to take a break from all the hard work and visit with our friends and fellow activists. Soooo, we will open up the house again to have a party - I will have the cooler with beer, soda, and water. Will make some iced tea, too. I will supply corn on the cob, baked potatoes, and a salad. Please bring something to throw on the grill and we will have an old-fashioned meat-and-potatoes dinner.

(Ernie: Apricots are just now starting to ripen and will be ready Wednesday at their peak.)

We still have a lot of fruit on our citrus trees, so please come and pick some to take home. It will not last another month or two before it all dries up in preparation for some new fruit. We have grapefruits (they are really nice and sweet and juicy right now), tangelos, navel oranges, and the apricots should be ready by then (they are just starting to turn - we need to get them before the bird eat them all). We didn't get many lemons this year, so if you can find one or two, they are yours!
