Town of Quartzsite, AZ web site down since 3PM yesterday

I kept checking all day for the promised transcript of the secret meeting where a "state of emergency" or martial law was declared on Sunday.

To their credit, they actually keep up with their council meeting (abridged) minutes running no more than a week behind.

So I was actually hopeful the minutes might be posted as per Quartzsite's promise reported in the AZ Republic. Sometime between 3PM when I last checked and 9PM when I got home the below image appeared and as of this writing (6:30AM Tues.) their web site is still down.

Wow! Those guys will do anything to control that town. :-D

Thanks Ed. I guess I would be down by the river if I lived there right about now...cause it has got to be hot.

Maybe this explains it!

"The entire town of Quartzite, including 2012 customers, is without power due to 20 downed power poles. Power is not expected to be restored until this evening."
