and strip Petraeus of his stars-n-bars. The issue turns on the decision by a Florida pastor to burn a Koran. Petraeus allegedly said: "This was a surprise," Gen. Petraeus said. The Quran burning in Florida, he added, was "hateful, extremely disrespectful and enormously intolerant." Specifically, Karzai over in Afghanistan said, prompting Petraeus's statement: Most Afghans learned about the Quran burning in Florida only when Mr. Karzai on March 24 condemned the act as "a crime against the religion and the entire Muslim nation," called on the U.S. and the U.N. to bring the perpetrators to justice and demanded "a satisfactory response to the resentment and anger of over 1.5 billion Muslims around the world." Here's my "satisfactory response" to Mr. Karzai: This nation was founded as a representative secular republic governed by an explicit Constitution that contains recognition of fundamental liberty interests. That Constitution contains an explicit prohibition against government establishment (or respect) for or against any religion, including Islam. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. If your religion, practiced in this country, calls for the burning of books claimed to be "Holy" by other religions which you claim are "abominations", you have the absolute right to do so. Congress is explicitly enjoined from passing any law prohibiting this conduct. Mr. Karzai's demand and DoucheNozzle Petraeus' apparent endorsement of that demand must be met with the above response, for such is an attempt to destroy the foundation of our nation's government - a foundation laid upon the explicit statement that the government is prohibited from either protecting or penalizing any particular set of religious beliefs and the demands of adherents to said religion. Burning of a book one owns and purchased with their own money - any book, no matter who it offends - is an act of speech and is absolutely protected under our Constitution.

Have you noticed the Obama administration's silence whenever Muslims commit acts offensive to Christians... like burning churches with people inside?

Do you remember the US Military ordering the confiscation and burining of the Holy Bible? Obama openly said he would side with Muslims when contested.

America is doomed by traitors within, who respect none of our God-given rights in the original Bill of Rights, who disrespect the US Constitution and crap all over the principles of the Declaration of Independence, our American Heritage of Truth, Justice, and Liberty for All in the pursuit of happiness!

God helps those that help themselves! Live free or die trying!
