Afghanistan War: Is child abuse a new Taliban gambit?

• .

Worse, the medevac crews worry that the high number of abuse cases are more than just the consequence of a conservative society with strong patriarchal traditions — they worry the high number of cases are part of a strategy.

“It’s a tactic we see the enemy using, injuring these children or female civilians,” said Sgt. Billy Raines, an experienced medic and father of three girls. “They bring them to the local combat outpost, and at that point they gain access to a U.S. military facility. Then they get a flight on our helicopter so they understand how we fly.”

“But their vehicle to get to and fro is that injured person.”

Their  cultural limits are not those of Western cultures.

We are invaders there. When will we learn that the Afghans will do absolutely anything to be free of us?

What lengths would you go to if your  city was occupied by a foreign force  that scattered uranium over the landscape so that your children would suffer birth defects for the next 4 billion years?

That flew remote control aircraft that regualrly slaughtered and killed  innocent civialians - women, old men  and children?

What lenghts would you go to?  Maybe not theirs but you do not walk in their shoes either.
