FYI: The term usurp is generally associated with individual rights and means taking one or more away or elimination. For instance in Florida, recent legislation now requires a parent to get fishing licenses for themselves and children if they want to take then fishing off the "side" of a pond, canal, lake or river. Fresh and salt-water fishing licenses have long been required for boat fishing and catching lobsters for instance. Under the Obama administration a number of individual rights have been taken away however, you must understand what an individual right is before you can rate the present administration. The right to redress of grievances is probably the most important right recently usurped.
The Constitution notes in ARTICLE IX, "The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparaged others retained by the people".
Think of a right as the ability to go out in the world to do those things that you need or want to do to obtain life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, as long as you do not take away (usurp) the rights of another and without get permission or having to pay government for the right. Taking way somebody’s property or harming someone is an example of taking away their rights. So when government taxes, licenses or other such things they are in fact usurping individual rights. The question on must ask themselves is then when should I protect my individual rights and when should I acquiesce them for the common good. The good of the community is the mantra for Communism and the the protection of individual rights is the mantra for free enterprise.
Rate the usurper? I'd love to know how or in which way, the guy has "usurped" his position? If memory serves me right, it was the grand theft of two consecutive presidential elections that allowed this guy to win by a landslide. So, fair is fair. The guy sucks. He is the same as Bush. He is a corporate shill. But he is no usurper. Unlike Bush, he won fair and square - even if on a platform of lies - but not theft just deception which are not the same thing, not even in this backwards United States of Ass.
