WASHINGTON - The Federal Reserve scored a political victory on Wednesday as Democrats mulling financial reform backed off measures that would expose monetary policy to audits and make the head of the New York Fed a political appointee.

Hopefully the Congressional Democrats and Republicans who supported giving the Fed even more power will have "cooked their goose" and will not be reelected. Educating more Americans about the Fed is what needs to happen. Also, we all need to study Austrian economics.

I went on The Daily Paul website and found a corresponding article. They provide you with the ways and means to contact some particular Congressmen and Senators and urge them to support HR1207 Audit The Federal Reserve. I spent an hour sending e-mails.
