The Israeli military, meanwhile, has been forced to retract its claim that passengers aboard the flotilla were agents of al-Qaeda. An Israel Defense Forces press release sent out two days after the assault says approximately forty flotilla passengers “are mercenaries belonging to the Al Qaeda terror organization.” The independent journalist Max Blumenthal says both he and an Israeli colleague asked the Israeli military press office to substantiate its claim. No evidence was provided, and one day later the press released was modified. The original headline was changed from “Attackers of the IDF Soldiers Found to be Al Qaeda Mercenaries” to “Attackers of the IDF Soldiers Found Without Identification Papers.” Commenting on the retraction, Blumenthal writes, “The more Israel’s claims about the flotilla’s terrorist links are challenged, the more they fall apart.”

Mike, even the Israeli's have retracted this story. Not keeping up, are we... We look forward to your full and ample retraction. But not with 'bated breath, as this might prove fatal.

Mike is a Randian neo-con who supports US and Israeli aggression against the "evil terrrrrrrrrist" Arabs and practically anybody else on the planet.  For Mike and his ilk, history began either in 1948, when the Jews reclaimed "their" land (stealing it by force from the people already living there for 5,000 years), or on 9/11/2001 when the American Empire received a blank check to invade any country on the plant to "fight terrrrrrrrism."  (And that's putting aside the issue of who blew up the buildings...)

Anyone with one iota of historical perspective knows that the Anglo-American Empire has been killing Arabs and stealing their oil for the past 100 years, and they are understandably pissed off about it.  Great Britain, Isreal, and the US have been the main violators of the non-aggression principle in the Middle East, although the Russians took their brief turn with predictable results.

I don't know why Mike bothers to post this Israeli propaganda (from the Jerusalem Post, no less!) on Freedom's Phoenix, because I don't think anybody's buying.  FreeRepublic.com might be a better place for this crap...

Here I though Renzulli posted these things to tell us how the modern day shill media was spinning things. But now that I think of it, Renzulli sounds like a Jewish name to me. All you have to do is turn it into Renzulovitch like anybody did before Ellis Island and just image him as a Jew with a big nose. Or Renzulowowski. Or Renzulshnev.
