BREAKING: Redflex Cameras to Come Down

• Freedoms Phoenix Exclusive
Mumbles from within the bowels of DPS and Redflex indicate that their failed automated ticketing scheme will soon come to an end on valley freeways, as the state program will not be renewed.

Stationary and mobile cameras are expected to be removed within 12 days of contract expiration, a date which is rapidly approaching.

Redflex is using the state program as a "sacrificial lamb" in hopes of saving the much more lucrative contracts that both Redflex and ATS hold with local municipalities.

Activists from multiple groups, including but not limited to CameraFRAUD, Freedom's Phoenix, PhotoRadarScam, and Youtube 4409 have fought a battle since 2008, and now the catchphrase appears to be coming true: The Cameras are Coming Down.

Nice report...thank you.

But I can't help notice in the final push for signatures to kill photoradar this helps kill the momentum.  Even though these things are still operating in many cities.

But it is a good election year push.  And whomever they sign a contract with in early December, can put them back up.  Unless the powers that be have finally decided to bring the troops (and the troopers) home from the wars.  They have bled us dry abroad, now it is time to get the newly trained and equipt enforcement apparatus out of the Middle East and Africa and back in the (motorcycle) saddle again.  Get to work prey . . . and take the freeway.
