Without federal rules and guidelines protecting U.S. travelers’ Constitutional rights; Homeland Security if subsequently corrupted by a tyrannical U.S. Government, could be used to delay, detain and arrest any person traveling, suspected of supporting a lawful political or other cause opposed by U.S. Government. The Nazis used those tactics to stop free association and to intimidate Citizens from gathering to express their political dissent.
