"The Civil Rights Division encourages qualified applicants with targeted disabilities to apply. Targeted disabilities are deafness, blindness, missing extremities, partial or complete paralysis, convulsive disorder, mental retardation, mental illness, severe distortion of limbs and/or spine."

I wonder how they arrive at the conclusion that the mentally ill comprehend the Constitution well enough to administer it to you and me?

Red, I'm calling bullshit on your comment. There are good lawyers and judges out there, not many but they are there. Also, part of the problem is that the average american is ignorant of its own legal system to such an absurd degree that the legal system is seen as some mysterious and unknowable entity. Of course the corrupt lawyers and judges like it that way because then they get to claim things like honor and credibility when in reality they have none.

All lawyers, by definition, are "mentally handicapped" - They are dishonest, prostituted and Psychopathic. Now, if that ain't the definition of "mental handicap" then I dunno what is.

Well the majority of police and motor vehicle department employees are mentally retarded so what do you expect.
