This is an important news item. I don't believe for a second that government doesn't want to make a profit on its gold or it can produce coins in no time. The question is why stop? I am a betting man, upon occasion, so I will work on the assumption that the government is considering confiscation of gold. They probably do not want it around before taking a dramatic action vis a vis the currency. Perhaps, a new one. I have been staying with silver coins.

Again?!  What you don't make a profit?   The only Constitutionally lawful activity you conduct and you can't keep it up...what does that say when your only reason for existence is a fail?
